I had just finished cleaning up after dinner/washing dishes/watching my favorite show, and the thought of another conversation/task/demand was enough to make me want to hide/disappear/curl up in a ball.

Flashback Friday: Mom Edition
It's amazing how a simple slice can take you right back to your past. Today, I found myself traveling back to one of those wonderful days spent with my mom.
It started with a scrumptious treat that Mom always made just ideal. We rambled on about random topics, laughing happily. Afterwards, we explored our neighborhood and adored the weather.
Remembering those simple moments makes me thankful. It's a lesson that even the everyday days can be special when you have someone special by your side.
